Vendor Relations Specialist

Performs a broad diversity of complex functions for VACC (VA Community Care), supporting all the Service Line Managers, VA Community Care partners, and the medical center staff by providing primary support for the Vendor Management for outsourced vendors. Establish and develop relationships with Medical Customer Service Vendors to assess their current requirements for achieving superior Veteran results and to understand and assist the resolution of operational challenges. Develops and monitors vendor performance, relating to duties specific to their service level agreement:
average speed of answer, service levels, conversion rates, quality assurance etc. Develops project plans, communication materials, and deliverables in support of VA regulations. Interpret, communicate, and implement VA NVCC policies and procedures which promote appropriate controls, confidentiality of customer and VA information, and compliance with existing VA policies. Coordinate with manager to provide Sr Leadership visibility to Vendor performance metrics and provide recommendations for adjustment to contract or vendor strategies. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-07. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade, GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
experience monitoring vendor performance, working with vendors to resolve billing, appointment or medical notification issues; tracking vendor performance metrics and making recommendations for improvement. Experience providing customer service; establishing and maintaining vendor relationships. OR Education:
Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or J.D. in a related field that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position. OR Combination:
Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You can have the specialized experience as described above, but less than one year; and also have more than one year but less than the required education listed above. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. (Note:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
