Administrative Officer

The incumbent will serve as a primary resource for collecting, compiling, and/or tracking projects related to VACC, such as:
consults, authorizations, payments, scheduling, VSSC, HealthNet contract, and the preparation and resolution of in-depth research related to problems occurring within the VACC service. Generate reports to include fiscal, accountability, and staffing reports, and reports to accrediting bodies, etc. Serves as liaison between facilities management and VACC for all equipment orders, deliveries and problems which may arise. Reviews financial reports and resolves discrepancies with the appropriate accounting office. Provides ongoing informal training and assistance to new and current personnel regarding office policies and procedures. Performs audits necessary for continued accreditation conducting the review and assembling data for approval. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-11 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-09. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-09 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
experience providing various administrative services assisting with prepping schedules, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and drafting correspondence, and generating reports; experience in strategic planning, providing budgetary oversight and maintaining human resource records OR Education:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related OR Combination:
Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You can have the specialized experience as described above, but less than one year; and also have more than one year but less than the required education listed above. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. (Note:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
